Trust & Safety
Share and collect food carefully
ZeroHungerAI helps donors publish donor-reported food information and helps recipients discover nearby listings. It does not certify food freshness, hygiene, safety, allergens, or suitability.
Responsibilities
Donors are responsible for honestly describing food, preparation timing, packaging, storage, availability, and known allergen or dietary information. Recipients are responsible for reviewing listing details, asking necessary questions through available flows, and declining anything that seems unsafe.
Food information
Homemade and prepared foods need extra care. Consider preparation time, temperature control, packaging condition, storage history, allergen disclosure, and whether the food appears different from the listing. AI decision support can help organize signals, but it does not replace human judgment.
Pickup privacy and handoff safety
Listings show approximate public locations before claim. Exact pickup details should remain private until an authorized claim flow makes them available. Meet in a practical public or agreed safe place where possible, keep communication respectful, and cancel or reject an unsafe handoff.
Do not collect or consume food when you have safety concerns.
Reporting concerns
Report incorrect, unavailable, unsafe, fraudulent, or privacy-impacting listings. Also report harassment or unsafe pickup behaviour. Reports create a private operational case reference and do not expose the operator inbox.
Immediate emergencies
In an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services first. ZeroHungerAI reports are for platform follow-up and are not an emergency-response channel.
